From connected catalog
to a focused next step.

A practical review workflow, with you in control.

Connect your accounts

Link the Shopify store and Merchant Center account you manage. Connection options depend on the integrations enabled for your workspace.

Import your products

Bring in product titles, links, availability, and the issues returned by Merchant Center. Re-import when you want a fresh snapshot.

Review and resolve

Find affected products, read the reported issue, and make the correction in Shopify or Merchant Center. Then import again to check the latest data.

Know what’s in view.

A useful picture starts with clear boundaries.

What the beta brings together

  • Imported Shopify products and collections
  • Merchant Center product availability and returned issues
  • Product links and catalog context for your SEO work
  • Manual imports with a visible last-import date

What to keep in mind

This is a catalog and feed review tool. Live Shopping positions, advertising performance, sales attribution, and automatic feed corrections are not included.

A clean import means no issues were returned in that snapshot. It does not guarantee that every product is approved for every country or destination.

A few things you might wonder.

Do I need both Shopify and Merchant Center?

Connect the account relevant to the work you want to do. Shopify provides catalog context. Merchant Center provides the product status and issues returned by Google. Connecting one does not automatically connect the other.

Does Rankplain fix my feed?

No. Rankplain helps you see what needs attention. Make changes in the source account, then import again to review the latest snapshot.

How often does the catalog refresh?

Catalog imports are started manually in the workspace. The last-import date helps you understand how fresh the information is. This is separate from keyword ranking checks.

How much of my catalog can I import?

The current import supports up to 1,000 Shopify products and 500 collections, or up to 1,000 Merchant Center feed entries. If an import reaches its limit, the workspace flags that the snapshot may be partial.
